Unfortuntely, this also contributes to the objectification of bodies, and as a result, bodies on social media are often looked at like objects instead of human bodies given to us as a vessel to explore the planet.
Because humans have a natural need to seek approval and avoid disapproval, we find ourselves caught in the current; conforming to socialized beauty norms in the quest for validation.
